How do I request a commission?
Simply get in touch via the contact form or email with your idea, including any text, imagery, occasion details, or inspiration. Reference photos or sketches are always helpful. Once I have the details, I’ll guide you through the next steps and aim to respond within 1–2 business days.

Can I personalise my glass with words?
Yes — names, dates, quotes, or meaningful messages can all be engraved to make your piece truly personal. I offer up to 6 words free of charge.

Can I ask for a very small change on one of your designs?
Absolutely. I’m happy to adapt existing designs where possible so they feel just right for you, such as adjusting small details like hair length or style.

Can you engrave my own design idea?
Yes — I love bringing personal ideas to life and can create a custom engraving based on your concept.

Can you work from photos or sketches?
Yes, reference images and sketches are very helpful and can be used as inspiration for your engraving.

Do you send design previews before engraving?
I don’t usually provide detailed visual mock-ups because all of my work is hand-engraved, and designs often don’t translate accurately beforehand. The design drawn on the piece consists of simple guide lines to plan placement. However, I always discuss your ideas and confirm details with you before engraving begins. The final hand-engraved piece is the best way to see the design truly come to life.

Can I order a glass per person for a big event such as a wedding or memorial?
Yes — I can create multiple pieces for events or occasions. Just get in touch with quantities and details, and I’ll confirm availability, lead times, and timing.

What glass items can be engraved?
I can engrave a wide range of glassware, including glasses, vases, bottles, decanters, frames, paperweights, candle holders, and decorative pieces.

Do you offer crystal as well as standard glass?
Yes — I work with both high-quality crystal and everyday glassware, depending on your preference and budget.

Are your pieces dishwasher safe?
Handwashing in lukewarm water is recommended. Glass can be sensitive to rapid temperature changes, so washing by hand helps ensure your piece stays beautiful and intact for years to come.

Will the engraving fade or wear away?
No — engraving is permanently carved into the glass surface, so it won’t fade, peel, or wash off.

Do you engrave coloured glass?
Yes — many coloured glass pieces can be engraved, but visibility can vary depending on the colour and type of glass. For some darker or highly coloured glass, I can enhance the engraving by inlaying it with white paint so the design stands out beautifully. I’m always happy to advise on what will work best for your chosen piece.

Can you engrave materials other than glass?
Yes — I’ve engraved a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and ceramic. If you have an idea in mind, feel free to ask, and I can let you know if it’s possible.

Can I order a preloved glass to be engraved (upcycled)?
Yes — I offer a selection of carefully sourced pre-loved glassware, which is both beautiful and sustainable. Just get in touch with your idea, and I can show you all of the options I currently have available.

Timing & Orders

How long does an order take to be sent off?
Most orders are completed and dispatched within around 5–10 business days, depending on design complexity and current workload.

Can you accommodate rush orders?
Often yes — if you need something sooner, please contact me before ordering and I’ll do my best to help.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship internationally?
Yes — I ship worldwide.

Do you provide tracking?
Yes — all orders are sent with tracking, and you’ll receive the tracking number once your order is dispatched.

How is the glass packaged safely?
Each piece is securely wrapped using protective packaging materials to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition. Fragile items are handled with extra care.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event your piece arrives damaged, please contact me within 72 hours with photos, and I’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

What are your postal timeframes once shipped?

• UK - Standard: approx. 2–5 working days

Can I upgrade shipping speed?
Usually yes — faster shipping is often available for an additional cost. Just contact me before ordering.

Why are shipping prices to the United States so Expensive?
Due to changes to import taxes and tariffs, all orders to the United States are now shipped with pre-paid duties (PPD). This means that import taxes and customs fees are already covered in the postage cost and paid by me, so your parcel will be delivered to you with no extra charges on arrival.
